About Rachel. . .

Hi! My name is Rachel and I am a newer dietitian that has found a passion for helping people heal their relationship with food. I am a recovering perfectionist that strives to show others how to find their own balance in life.

When I was 17, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease for which I was prescribed a specific diet. This led me down a path of disordered eating. Once I realized this cycle of eating and feeling guilty did not serve me, I was able to find my way forward.

I want to help you see that food doesn’t need to be scary but a pathway to live life to the fullest. Talking people through fears and frustrations is my priority in these meetings. Food may help us stay healthy physically but if it isn’t serving us mentally, we won’t get very far. I love to work with people who are tired of of the perpetual cycle of shame and want to get rid of it.

Experience:

Rachel received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She interned at various locations including the University of Utah Hospital, Davita Dialysis Clinic, and WIC clinics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
